About Us

Mission Statement:  "For the common good of the community", Supreme Transitions strongly believe that total self– sufficiency, safety and well-being is imperative.  Community education & Awareness on domestic violence, sexual assault and gender-based violence is essential to prevention as well as intervention practices.  Many spiritual beliefs speak about charity and having a charitable heart.  It is imperative that all mankind gain knowledge, wisdom, and safety; but also, more importantly to pass on the information that has been gained.  We wish to integrate the cultural, intellectual, spiritual, ethical, and social development of clients.

Vision Statement: Unlike your telephone-based resource centers; Supreme Transitions will be a store front office accessible to any person, walking, driving, virtual or calling.  Supreme Transitions will supply the survivors of domestic and sexual violence with their immediate inquiries for safety and emotional support.  Our goal is to help any person who desires a long-term change in their lives.  As a client expresses a need, our team will research and develop a plan for every individual.  Our goal is to supply low-income families with some valuable keys for success and healing.  Supreme Transitions is a physical place where individuals can come seeking leads/referrals, wrap around services, and non-traditional modalities to healing group sessions that will lead to total self-sufficient lives and lifestyles.

Focus: Total self-sufficiency development through leads and referrals, Safety planning, Mentoring, & Coaching services.  This includes Case management, Intake, & Needs Assessment (s) within the African American community on a culturally linguistic trauma informed developed level.  Effective evidence-based models may be used on a case-by-case circumstance.

What we do:  Supreme Transitions is a culturally responsive agency that fields phone calls, accepts referrals from National helplines and local agencies/programs to assist survivors in crisis and in need of DV/SA/IPV Intervention services including a needs assessment, safety plan, warm referrals to agencies and service providers. We host community interactions and awareness campaigns to increase prevention services. We meet survivors at their preferred location, by phone, or devices with video chat capabilities.  In-person advocacy appointments, resource fairs, educational forums and empowerment conferences are held regularly. Non-traditional healing group sessions are held monthly. Referrals to traditional healing services are given by request (s). All group sessions are facilitated by certified, Licensed, or professional industry leaders and accompanied by Intervention specialist. Supreme Transitions hosts a podcast, “The Single Mommy Hustle”, that invites community partners, agencies, service providers, and culturally specific activists as well as DV/SA survivors to join a conversation via social media platforms in a discrete manner to become educated about programs available within the community and discuss topics relevant to the Communities of color. Supreme Transitions is on multiple State and Local partners lists and provides trainings per request. The executive director is a national consultant and participates/Facilitates National, State, & Local discussions to raise awareness of the disparities in the Black community on the many intersections of domestic violence.
